Jogja Hip‐hop Foundation (JHF) founded by Marzuki Mohammad aka Kill the DJ in 2003, Jogja Hip‐hop Foundation (JHF) projects itself to accommodate Yogyakarta based hip‐hop crews that mostly use traditional Javanese language.Even though the name might sound formal, JHF operates in a more communal way rather than in the form of formal institutions.

JHF's highlight consists of three crews who consistently rap in Javanese language. Those groups also combine Javanese traditional groove with urban music beat. They are Jahanam, Rotra and Kill the DJ; a bunch of Javanese rude boys standing still in the cross-culture.
